This forum is for things you find boring. I could have put this post in a few forums but I have plumped for this one.
Painting 
Today I spent a few hours painting the hall and landing. Well that was the intention. I actually only got the bannisters done. I hate painting at the best of times. I particularly hate georgian windows (I had them ripped out), doors (Too much area to do at once) and anywhere near glass (I just can't keep the paint off it) but my big gripe is the stairs.
Painting every one of those ruddy spindles on the staircase has to be the most tedious, *rse numbingly boring thing ever. You paint one then move to the next, then the next, then the next, all the time geting paint on your hands from the last one you did. You eventually lose track of which ones are done and which aren't so end up missing half of them and painting the other half twice then, when you think there is an end in sight theres another flight of the ****** things.
Whe you are finally happy and have checked it is all done then some idiot ALWAYS goes upstairs and puts their hand right in the middle ruining everything. That person is usually me though everyone in the house will do it at least once at some point in the evening.
I hate painting stairs.
