I miss the old pleasure land it was the best place to be in the summer, i remember going every summer and staying in a 4 star hotal , Boyden inn, victoria st, that was from 2003/5 i will miss them days so much but i have tresured memorys.

Charging to go in there killed it dead I'm afraid. Ridiculous idea, charging entry AND charging for rides.

Plus all the security that had, like they now do in Blackpool, silly, I'm fairly sure it's fake anyway, i went through both Southport (sneaking past a guard :shock:

) and Blackpool, with my keys and my mobile phone in my pockets, and no alarm went off

The band systerm was ok till thay charged entrance fees, the last time i was there was for the weekend back in 2005, i have not been bak since.

Its Blackpool nexttime for me kidder. :lol:

I do still miss the old Pleasure land, I had so much fun there now all I have is pictures and memory's
It was pure and utter greed that killed the former PL.

Do you think Blackpool could be next?

My Daughter was at Blackpool the other weekend, and said the fair was very busy, but £30 for a wrist band is a rip off.
It cost her dad £90 for her , her mate and him to go on the rides.
